This is a red carpet worthy deadstock 2012 Jean Paul Gaultier Femme red velvet strapless dress with a black jersey lightweight coat attached at the hem. This stunning dress was featured at Jean-Paul Gaultier's Fall / Winter 2012 runway show.

The photos really can't show how gorgeous this evening gown is in person! The attached black overlay has drop shoulders, extra-extra long sleeves, and a V back. The strapless red velvet column dress has boning, an inner corset, a zipper on the inside, and an asymmetrical zipper outside on the side back. We especially love the ultra dramatic thigh high slit! The dress is lined in the same black jersey as found on the outer piece.

Made in Italy of 77% Rayon, 20% silk, and 3% other fibers and labeled a US 8  or Italian 42. We estimate this to fit a modern day US size 6 but please use the measurements as a guide for the most accurate fit.
